Being the owner-operator of tattoo studios Hand of Glory Tattoo and Oculo Visitant Gallery, Craig Rodriguez has been tattooing since 1993. By 1997 when tattooing was legalized in NYC he participated in a historic photo of the first 50 people to have their tattoo licenses issued. He has traveled throughout the world tattooing and studying the trade in such places as Japan, Europe, and South America. His passion for the craft led him to the creation of two industry-based companies: Defiance Mfg. and Tekori Systems, both specializing in the innovation and development of custom tattoo machines. His favorite styles to tattoo are Japanese and traditional American.
